Jägersro

Jägersro in Malmö is Sweden's most important venue for thoroughbred flat racing and also hosts a major harness racing programme, making it the only dual-purpose track of significance in Scandinavia. The flat racing programme — run on a right-handed turf circuit — includes the Swedish Derby (in June) and several Listed and Group 3 races that attract horses from Denmark, Norway, and occasionally Germany. The harness racing programme at Jägersro complements Solvalla's schedule and is part of the V75 rotation — meaning Jägersro's harness racing regularly features in the weekly national betting event that drives ATG's tote business. The track's location near the Øresund bridge connecting Sweden to Denmark makes it easily accessible from Copenhagen's large horse racing fan base.
