Oulu Raverata

Oulu Raverata in Oulu — Finland's fifth-largest city, located in Ostrobothnia on the Gulf of Bothnia — is Northern Finland's principal harness racing venue and one of the most atmospheric racing environments in Scandinavia. Racing at Oulu during the Finnish summer months is conducted under the phenomenon that defines the region: the midnight sun, which allows evening races to be run in bright daylight well past 11pm — an experience unique to harness racing at Arctic latitudes that attracts visitors from across Europe who combine the racing experience with Finland's summer midnight-sun tourism.
