Solvalla

Solvalla in Stockholm is the most important harness racing venue in Scandinavia and one of the premier trotting tracks in the world. The Elitloppet — held annually on the last Sunday of May — is an invitational race featuring the world's 12 best trotters and regularly attracting horses from the US, France, Italy, and the Netherlands to Sweden. Solvalla also hosts V75, Sweden's weekly pari-mutuel jackpot wager on seven races that generates pools of $10–20 million per week — among the largest individual racing pools in the world outside Japan and Hong Kong. The track is operated by AB Trav och Galopp (ATG), the Swedish tote company, and provides racing year-round on both an outdoor track and an indoor winter venue.
