Overview

Bally's Atlantic City opened on December 29, 1979 as Park Place Casino, making it one of the first casino hotels in Atlantic City's modern gaming era. The property has operated under several names and owners over the decades — including Bally's Park Place and Caesars' Bally's brand — before being acquired by Bally's Corporation in 2020 as part of the company's push to build a national gaming footprint under the Bally's name. The resort consists of two gaming areas: the main casino and the adjoining Wild Wild West Casino.

Gaming Floor

The combined casino floor spans approximately 115,000 square feet with around 2,500 slot machines and over 120 live table games. The Wild Wild West Casino adjacent to the main floor adds a themed gaming area with slots and table games. Blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, and three-card poker are available across both gaming areas. A dedicated poker room operates daily cash games and tournaments.

Sportsbook

Bally Bet Sportsbook operates within the casino, offering a comfortable wagering environment with screens covering all major US and international sports. The Bally Bet mobile app extends New Jersey-licensed sports betting statewide.

Hotel

The Bally's Atlantic City hotel features 1,251 guest rooms and suites in the Dennis Tower and Bally's Tower, with many rooms offering partial ocean or city views. The hotel is connected directly to the Boardwalk via an enclosed walkway. Ongoing property improvements have upgraded room finishes and public areas in recent years.

Dining

Bally's dining options include the casual American grille, a 24-hour diner, a buffet, and several bars and lounges throughout the property. The resort's proximity to the Boardwalk puts guests within easy walking distance of dozens of additional Atlantic City dining options.
