About Bally's Tunica
Overview
Bally's Tunica (formerly Horseshoe Tunica) is one of the largest remaining casino resorts in Tunica County — the Mississippi Delta gaming district that was once the third-largest gaming market in the United States. Located approximately 30 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee, the Tunica casino corridor was developed in the early 1990s when Mississippi became one of the first states to authorize commercial casino gambling.
The Tunica market has contracted significantly since its peak — several properties have closed following competition from newer tribal casinos in neighboring states — but Bally's Tunica remains one of the anchors of the remaining district, serving the Memphis market that still lacks legal casino gaming within Tennessee's state limits.
Gaming & Hotel
The gaming floor features 1,000+ slot machines and live table games. The hotel provides accommodations, and multiple dining outlets serve the property. The Bally's Rewards loyalty program integrates across the Standard General/Bally's Corporation portfolio.
