Overview

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa opened on July 2, 2003 and immediately redefined Atlantic City as a premium resort destination. Developed as a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Boyd Gaming (MGM later acquired full ownership), Borgata brought Las Vegas-caliber luxury to the Atlantic City Marina District. The property is consistently ranked as Atlantic City's highest-grossing casino and has won more AAA Four Diamond awards than any other casino in the city.

Gaming Floor

The 161,000-square-foot casino floor is Atlantic City's grandest, offering approximately 4,200 slot machines and video poker terminals alongside nearly 200 live table games. Blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, mini-baccarat, pai gow, and a full suite of specialty games are spread across the floor. The Borgata Poker Room is legendary — 85 tables hosting some of the most prestigious tournaments on the East Coast, including the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open.

Sportsbook

BetMGM Sportsbook at Borgata is a state-of-the-art wagering lounge spanning 6,000 square feet with a 40-foot video wall, private VIP seating pods, and wagering on every major US and international sport. The BetMGM mobile app extends New Jersey-licensed betting statewide.

Hotel & Spa

Two AAA Four Diamond towers — the Borgata Hotel and The Water Club — together offer over 2,000 luxury rooms and suites. The Borgata Spa & Salon is a 54,000-square-foot full-service spa with an indoor pool, whirlpool, steam rooms, and a comprehensive menu of treatments. The Water Club adds an additional rooftop pool and spa experience.

Borgata boasts over a dozen restaurants and bars including Wolfgang Puck American Grille, Bobby Flay Steak, Michael Patrick's Food & Drink, and the 24-hour Borgata Buffet. Nightlife venues include mur.mur nightclub and The Music Box concert theater, which hosts major national touring acts throughout the year.
