Casino di Sanremo

Casino di Sanremo occupies the magnificent Palazzo del Municipio on Sanremo's elegant central corso, a 1905 Liberty-style building that has defined the visual identity of the Italian Riviera town for over a century. The casino is one of only four licensed land-based casinos in all of Italy — a scarcity that has preserved Sanremo's status as a genuine destination gaming town, drawing visitors from across northern Italy, Monaco, and the French Riviera just over the border.

The gaming rooms — restored to their original Belle Époque splendour — offer French and American roulette, baccarat, blackjack, chemin-de-fer, and craps alongside a slot machine room. The Salone delle Feste, the casino's grand ballroom, is regularly used for conventions, fashion events, and private parties. The adjacent Teatro Ariston is the venue for Italy's beloved Sanremo Music Festival, held annually since 1951 and responsible for launching the careers of virtually every major Italian pop singer, as well as giving the world "Volare" and "Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu."
