Overview

Choctaw Casino Resort Durant is the flagship casino resort of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma — the third-largest federally recognized tribe in the United States — and is located in Durant, Bryan County, approximately 90 miles north of Dallas on US-69/75. Like WinStar, the Durant property benefits substantially from its proximity to the Texas border and the enormous North Texas market that has no legal commercial casino gaming.

The Choctaw Nation has invested heavily in the Durant property over multiple expansion phases, most recently completing a major hotel and resort expansion that added a luxury hotel tower, convention center, world-class spa, and golf course. The resort now competes directly with WinStar for the DFW market and with the Oklahoma City properties for the state's largest gaming market share.
