Overview

Deadwood Mountain Grand is the flagship property of Deadwood's commercial gaming district — the largest and most complete casino resort in the historic gold rush town that was one of the first US jurisdictions to legalize limited gaming in 1989. Deadwood was the lawless mining camp where Wild Bill Hickok was shot and killed in 1876 while holding what became known as the "dead man's hand" (aces and eights).
