Overview

Delaware Park Casino & Racing is the largest gaming destination in Delaware, located near Wilmington in New Castle County. The property has operated thoroughbred horse racing since 1937 and added video lottery terminals (slots) in 1995 under the Delaware State Lottery authority. Live table games were added in 2012 when Delaware expanded gaming options. Delaware Park sits just 15 minutes from downtown Wilmington and is accessible to the massive Philadelphia market (30 minutes north) and the Baltimore/DC corridor to the south.

Delaware became the first state to offer full single-game sports betting in August 2018 — predating every other state that followed the Supreme Court's PASPA ruling — and Delaware Park operates a robust sportsbook under that framework.
