FireKeepers Casino Hotel is operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi and is the dominant gaming destination in southwest Michigan. Located in Battle Creek — known worldwide as the home of Kellogg's cereal — FireKeepers opened in 2009 and immediately became one of the most successful new casino openings in Michigan history, attracting gaming visitors from the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing markets.
