About Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel
Overview
Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is the second and smaller of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians' two Caesars-managed casino resorts in North Carolina. Located in Murphy — in the far southwestern corner of North Carolina, near the Georgia and Tennessee borders — the property opened in October 2015 and serves a different regional market than the main Cherokee property, drawing primarily from the Tri-Cities area of Georgia/Tennessee/North Carolina rather than the Great Smoky Mountains tourism corridor.
The Valley River setting provides a natural backdrop distinct from the main Cherokee property, and the hotel and casino combination creates a complete destination for southwest North Carolina visitors. Caesars Rewards integration allows players to earn and redeem points across the full Caesars national portfolio.
Gaming & Hotel
1,000+ slot machines and 70+ live table games. The hotel provides premium accommodations in Murphy, North Carolina. A full-service spa and multiple dining outlets complete the resort experience. The property is connected to the main Cherokee casino via Caesars Rewards and the EBCI's gaming enterprise infrastructure.
