Overview

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino anchors the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip with a Southeast Asian tropical theme and one of the most distinctive amenity packages of any Strip resort. Operated by MGM Resorts International and opened in March 1999, Mandalay Bay has built a loyal following based on its beach — a genuine 1.6-million-gallon wave pool surrounded by 11 acres of real sand — which differentiates it meaningfully from the rooftop pools of competing properties.

The Mandalay Bay convention center (2.1 million sq ft) is one of the largest on the Strip and makes the property a major meetings and conventions destination. Michelob Ultra Arena (previously the Thomas & Mack Center at Mandalay) has hosted major boxing events including several Manny Pacquiao fights and acts as the primary concert arena for the southern Strip corridor. The adjacent Four Seasons Hotel (non-casino) occupies floors 35-39 of the Mandalay Bay hotel tower as a property-within-a-property.

Gaming

The 120,000 sq ft gaming floor features 1,200+ slot machines and 120+ table games. The poker room is well-regarded. The race & sports book is one of Las Vegas's largest. High-limit gaming is available in a dedicated salon.

Hotel

3,211 rooms across the main tower (with the Four Seasons on the top floors), the THEhotel tower (now Delano Las Vegas — independently branded), and standard tower rooms. The Four Seasons floors have a separate entrance, lobby, and amenities.

Entertainment & Dining

Michael Jackson ONE (Cirque du Soleil production, 1,800-seat Mandalay Bay Theatre) is one of Las Vegas' longest-running shows. Shark Reef is one of North America's premier aquarium attractions. Celebrity dining includes Aureole, Fleur, Lupo, Citizens Kitchen, and more than a dozen outlets.

Getting There

Located at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119 — at the southern end of the Strip near the Las Vegas city/county line. The monorail tram connects Mandalay Bay to Excalibur and Luxor. Valet and self-parking available (fees apply).
