Menominee Casino Resort is operated by the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Keshena, Menominee County — one of the few Wisconsin counties that is itself a tribal reservation. The Menominee are among the longest-continuously-residing peoples in Wisconsin, with archaeological evidence of continuous habitation in the area for over 10,000 years. The Menominee Nation is known for its sustainable forestry practices on the reservation's 235,000 acres of forest, which has been certified as one of the best-managed forests in North America.
