Overview

Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel is operated by the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa (known as the Meskwaki Nation) on the Meskwaki Settlement in Tama County — a rare example of tribally purchased land (rather than a reservation) recognized by the federal government. The Meskwaki are the only Native American tribe to have purchased and paid for their own land in Iowa, beginning in 1857 after declining removal westward.

The casino, which first opened as a bingo hall in 1983 and added slot machines and table games as Iowa gaming law evolved, is the economic foundation of Meskwaki Nation self-sufficiency and serves the gaming market across central Iowa between Des Moines and Cedar Rapids.

The gaming floor features 1,500+ slot machines and live table games including blackjack, craps, and roulette. The hotel provides full-service accommodations, and an entertainment venue hosts concerts and events throughout the year.
