MGM Grand Las Vegas

Overview

MGM Grand Las Vegas is one of the largest hotel buildings in the United States and has served as the flagship property of MGM Resorts International since its opening in December 1993. At 5,044 rooms, it is the largest single hotel tower complex in Nevada (excluding the Venetian/Palazzo multi-tower count) and has maintained its status as one of the highest-revenue casino properties in the world for three decades. The signature MGM lion at the main entrance and the green glass exterior are among the most recognized landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip.

MGM Grand is the nucleus of the "MGM Entertainment District" — a cluster of MGM-owned properties that includes New York-New York, Park MGM, and Excalibur, with T-Mobile Arena (opened 2016) at the heart of the complex. This arena hosts major UFC events, NHL games (Vegas Golden Knights), concerts, and boxing — making the immediate area around MGM Grand the most entertainment-dense block on the Strip.

Gaming

The 171,500 sq ft gaming floor is one of the largest in the world and features 2,500+ slot machines and 210+ live table games. The high-limit room, poker room, and race & sports book are all world-class. Skylofts at MGM Grand operates a separate luxury boutique hotel experience within the property.

Hotel

5,044 rooms across multiple towers, with a wide range of room categories. The West Wing tower provides the primary accommodation product. Skylofts (29 duplex lofts) represent the ultra-luxury end of the product spectrum.

Entertainment & Dining

MGM Grand Garden Arena (17,000+ seats) hosts boxing's biggest events, major concerts, and marquee entertainment. T-Mobile Arena (20,000 seats), adjacent but technically a separate facility, is the home of the Vegas Golden Knights. Celebrity dining includes Joël Robuchon (Michelin three-star — the first in Las Vegas), Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak, Emeril Lagasse's Table 10, and more than 15 dining options.
