Overview

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is operated by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe in Auburn and is the largest casino in Washington State by number of gaming positions. The Muckleshoot Reservation is strategically located between Seattle and Tacoma in the Green River Valley, giving the casino excellent access from both cities and the entire South King County/Pierce County region. The casino opened in 1995 and has undergone several major expansions, including a major hotel tower addition in 2024 that transformed the property into a genuine destination resort.

The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe are the descendant community of the people who inhabited the White and Green River valleys of central western Washington — a region now densely developed as part of the greater Seattle suburban area. Casino revenue has funded transformational tribal investments in healthcare, education, and housing for tribal members who live in one of the most expensive housing markets in the United States.
