Overview
The Orleans Hotel and Casino opened in December 1996 with a New Orleans Mardi Gras theme and has grown into one of the largest locals casino resorts in Las Vegas. Boyd Gaming operates the property, which is located approximately one mile west of the Strip on Tropicana Avenue. The Orleans Arena (capacity 9,500) hosts concerts, boxing, and sporting events. The 70-lane bowling center is one of the largest in Nevada.
