About Rio Las Vegas

Overview

Rio Las Vegas opened in 1990 as one of the first major casino resorts built off the Strip, pioneering the all-suite hotel concept that several competitors subsequently adopted. Caesars Entertainment sold the property in 2023 to Dreamscape Companies for approximately $516.3 million. The 51-story Masquerade Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Las Vegas. Penn & Teller have held a long-running residency at the Rio, making the Penn & Teller Theater one of the most famous magic venues in the world.
