Overview

Southland Casino Racing is the Crittenden County licensee under Arkansas Amendment 100, located in West Memphis just across the Mississippi River from downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The property has roots in the Southland Greyhound Park, which opened in the 1950s and operated as one of the country's premier greyhound racing venues for decades. With the Amendment 100 expansion, Southland transformed from a racing-only facility into a full-scale casino destination serving one of the South's most densely populated entertainment corridors.

West Memphis's position on Interstate 40 and its proximity to Memphis — a metro area of over 1.3 million people — gives Southland Casino Racing an enormous natural catchment area. The casino draws heavily from the Tennessee and Mississippi markets where full casino gaming is unavailable in the major urban cores.

Gaming Floor

Southland's expanded casino floor is one of the largest in Arkansas, featuring more than 1,500 slot and electronic gaming machines spanning hundreds of game titles and denominations.
