About The D Las Vegas

Overview

The D Las Vegas opened in 2012 when Derek Stevens rebranded the historic Fitzgeralds Casino Hotel — one of Downtown's oldest properties — into a more contemporary, entertainment-forward gaming destination. The D stands for several things: Detroit (Stevens' hometown), Downtown, and the letter D generally. American Coney Island — the famous Detroit hot dog institution — operates on the ground floor, and the D Grill provides 24-hour dining. Live music and entertainment programming is central to the property's identity.

Gaming & Hotel

30,000 sq ft gaming with 600+ slot machines and 30+ table games including a vintage Sigma Derby horse racing game. 629 rooms. The casino's second floor houses a vintage gaming museum with original Bally slot machines and historical artifacts.
