Overview

The Strat (formerly the Stratosphere) is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US at 1,149 feet, and the only casino resort with thrill rides atop its observation deck. Meruelo Gaming operates the property, which was extensively renovated and rebranded from Stratosphere to The Strat in 2019. The tower offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas valley and houses four thrill rides including Big Shot (a 160-foot shot tower ride at 1,081 feet elevation).
