Overview

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is operated by the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) and is the largest casino resort in the Sacramento region. Located in Lincoln, approximately 30 miles north of Sacramento in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Thunder Valley opened in 2003 and has undergone multiple major expansions to become one of Northern California's most comprehensive gaming destinations.

The UAIC successfully lobbied to reopen the Auburn Rancheria in 1994 after it was previously terminated under federal policy, and Thunder Valley is the economic engine that has supported the tribe's rebuilding efforts. The property's scale — which rivals the largest California tribal casinos — reflects both the tribe's vision and the enormous Sacramento-to-Bay Area market it serves.

Thunder Valley's gaming floor spans approximately 140,000 square feet featuring over 4,000 slot and electronic game machines alongside 130+ live table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow poker, and numerous specialty games. The poker room is Sacramento's most active, running cash games across multiple stakes 24/7 and hosting major tournament events. A high-limit salon serves premium players.
