About Treasure Island Hotel and Casino
Overview
Treasure Island Hotel and Casino opened in October 1993 as a Steve Wynn project adjacent to The Mirage. Phil Ruffin purchased the property from MGM Resorts in 2009 for $775 million, making it one of the few major Strip properties with independent ownership. The Siren's Cove outdoor attraction on the Strip facade is a nightly free show. Mystère by Cirque du Soleil has performed in the TI Theatre since 1993 — one of the longest-running Cirque productions in Las Vegas.
