About The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
Overview
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas encompasses two towers — The Venetian and The Palazzo — that together comprise the largest hotel resort complex in the world by room count, with 7,117 all-suite rooms across 67 acres. The Venetian opened in May 1999 at a cost of $1.5 billion, built on the site of the demolished Sands Hotel (where the Rat Pack performed). The Palazzo tower opened in 2007 at an additional cost of $1.8 billion. The combined resort is operated by Las Vegas Sands Corporation (though the property was sold to Apollo Global Management and VICI Properties in 2021).
The Italian Renaissance theme — Venetian canals, gondola rides, St. Mark's Square replica, trompe l'oeil frescoed ceilings, and marble throughout — is executed at a level of architectural detail that exceeds most other themed casino resorts globally. The 1,200-foot-long Grand Canal Shoppes features a gondola canal inside the mall, an interior replica of the Rialto Bridge, and is among the most unique retail experiences in the world.
Gaming
The 120,000 sq ft gaming floor spans the lower level and features an exceptional range of games. The poker room is one of the finest in Las Vegas. High-limit rooms accommodate premium players. Sports betting is available.
Hotel
All 7,117 rooms are suites — 700 sq ft minimum — making The Venetian's baseline room size larger than most Las Vegas properties' luxury suites. The Palazzo tower offers an ultra-luxury all-suite experience. Canyon Ranch Spa Club is among the finest spa experiences in Las Vegas.
Entertainment & Dining
The Sands Expo and Convention Center (adjacent) makes the property the leading Las Vegas convention destination. Celebrity dining includes TAO, Mario Batali outlets, Bouchon by Thomas Keller, and more than 30 restaurants and bars. Entertainment venues include the Copa Room showroom and various lounges.
Getting There
Located at 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 — between Spring Mountain Road and Sands Ave across from the Wynn. Valet and self-parking available (fees apply).
