About Virgin Hotels Las Vegas
Overview
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas opened in March 2021 after a $200 million transformation of the former Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas — one of the most beloved hotel brands in Las Vegas history. The Hard Rock closed in 2020 after 25 years; Virgin Hotels took over the property and partnered with Mohegan Gaming to operate the casino floor. The 1,504-room resort maintains a music and entertainment focus consistent with the Virgin brand, and The Joint music venue (now renamed) continues as a premier concert venue.
