Overview

WarHorse Casino Lincoln is the flagship property of WarHorse Gaming LLC — a company formed through a partnership between Nebraska Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association and Caesars Entertainment — and holds the distinction of being one of the very first casinos to open in Nebraska following voters' approval of casino gaming in November 2020. The property opened in September 2022 at the Lincoln Race Course at Nebraska State Fair Park, marking a historic milestone for Nebraska gaming.

Nebraska's gaming market is one of the newest in the United States and continues to expand rapidly. The constitutional amendment that enabled casino gaming was passed through a citizen initiative process and specifically linked casino gaming to horse racing tracks — ensuring that the new gaming revenue also supports Nebraska's horse racing industry.

WarHorse Casino Lincoln features 1,500+ electronic gaming devices and live table games. A dedicated poker room provides regular cash games for the Lincoln metropolitan area, which had previously had no local gaming option. The property's integration with horse racing at Lincoln Race Course provides live and simulcast wagering as an additional attraction.
