Overview

We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort is the signature gaming and hospitality destination of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, situated in the high Sonoran Desert northeast of Scottsdale at the base of the McDowell Mountains. "We-Ko-Pa" means "Four Peaks" in the Yavapai language, referring to the iconic Four Peaks mountain formation visible from the property — a landmark sacred to the Fort McDowell people for generations.

The facility represents a major investment by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation in economic self-sufficiency, replacing an earlier casino with a modern full-service resort complex designed to serve guests from Scottsdale, the East Valley, and the greater Phoenix region.
