About Wildhorse Resort & Casino
Overview
Wildhorse Resort & Casino is operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation near Pendleton in eastern Oregon — a region known internationally for the Pendleton Round-Up, one of the most famous professional rodeos in the United States. The casino and resort occupy a prominent position on Blue Mountain Road east of Pendleton, serving the gaming market for eastern Oregon, southeastern Washington, and the I-84 corridor between Portland and Boise.
The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples) have occupied the Blue Mountain and Columbia Plateau region for thousands of years and are the guardians of some of the most significant archaeological sites in the Pacific Northwest. The Tamástslikt Cultural Institute on the casino grounds is one of the premier Native American cultural museums in the Pacific Northwest, interpreting 10,000+ years of Columbia Plateau tribal history from the tribal perspective.
Gaming & Hotel
1,500+ slot machines and 45+ live table games. A hotel and RV park provide accommodation options. Championship golf. Tamástslikt Cultural Institute is a major attraction for non-gaming visitors.
