About Caesars Windsor
Caesars Windsor occupies a commanding position on the Windsor waterfront with an unobstructed view across the Detroit River to the Michigan skyline — one of the most dramatic cross-border vistas of any casino in North America. The property opened in 1998 (replacing a temporary casino that had operated since 1994) and was rebranded from Windsor Casino to Caesars Windsor in 2008 when Caesars Entertainment acquired the management contract from OLG.
The casino floor features approximately 2,200 slots and 85 table games. The Augustus Tower hotel, an 18-storey property with 758 rooms and suites, connects directly to the casino complex, which also includes the Colosseum entertainment venue (2,500 seats), multiple restaurants, and a health spa. Windsor's position directly across from Detroit makes Caesars a popular destination for Michigan gamblers, who can reach it via the Ambassador Bridge or the Windsor Tunnel.
