About Casino Kitzbühel
Casino Kitzbühel operates within the prestigious Schloss Lebenberg, a 16th-century hilltop fortress on the edge of Kitzbühel that was converted into a hotel-casino in the 1970s. Kitzbühel itself is one of the world's most exclusive ski resorts — a medieval market town ringed by the Hahnenkamm, Pengelstein, and Kitzbüheler Horn mountains, where châlets sell for tens of millions of euros and the annual Hahnenkamm downhill race in January draws royals, celebrities, and the international financial elite.
The casino is deliberately intimate, reflecting the village character of Kitzbühel rather than a large resort. Games include roulette, blackjack, punto banco, and poker, with a small slot area. The social season peaks in January (Hahnenkamm week, when the casino is famously packed every evening) and during the summer hiking and cycling season. Operated by Casinos Austria as part of its 12-property national network.
