About SkyCity Adelaide
SkyCity Adelaide is South Australia's sole licensed casino, located within the beautifully restored 1929 Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace in the city's cultural boulevard. The New Zealand-based SkyCity Entertainment Group acquired the property in 2000 and has since invested hundreds of millions of dollars in upgrades and a landmark expansion project.
A AU$330 million transformation that includes a six-star 123-room hotel, expanded VIP facilities, new restaurants, and a 2,000-seat entertainment venue is nearing completion. The existing casino floor offers over 1,000 gaming machines and 100 table games including baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and poker. The stunning heritage architecture — including the grand main hall's ornate ceilings — makes it one of Australia's most visually distinctive gaming venues.
