About The Star Gold Coast
The Star Gold Coast (formerly Jupiters Hotel & Casino) is situated on the Gold Coast's iconic beachfront strip at Broadbeach. Originally opened in 1986, the resort underwent a transformative A$345 million expansion between 2018 and 2022 that added the 53-storey Dorsett Gold Coast hotel tower, expanded gaming facilities, and a new theatre and entertainment precinct.
The casino floor offers baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and other table games alongside approximately 1,500 gaming machines. The resort's location between the beach and Broadbeach Mall makes it one of the most accessible leisure destinations on the Gold Coast, attracting both domestic visitors and international tourists — particularly from China, Japan, and South Korea.
Major entertainment acts perform regularly at The Star Gold Coast's theatre, and the property's multiple hotel brands (The Darling Gold Coast, The Star Grand Gold Coast, and Dorsett Gold Coast) cater to a wide range of travellers. The complex is owned and operated by The Star Entertainment Group.
