About MGM Grand Macau
Overview
MGM Grand Macau opened in December 2007 as a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Pansy Ho Chiu-king (daughter of Stanley Ho), bringing the MGM brand to the Macau Peninsula's NAPE waterfront district. The defining architectural feature is the Grande Praça — a 2,000 sq metre glass-canopied central atrium modelled on the great public squares of Iberian history that fills the resort's centre with natural light and serves as an entertainment and events space.
