Overview

The Venetian Macao opened in August 2007 and immediately became the most talked-about casino resort in Asia. At 10.5 million square feet of total floor space it is the largest building in Asia and the second largest in the world. The gaming floor alone covers 550,000 square feet — making it the largest casino floor on earth — with 3,400 slot machines and 800 gaming tables. The hotel offers 3,000 suites (no standard rooms) in the Venetian's signature oversized configuration, each a minimum of 540 square feet.

Like its Las Vegas sibling, The Venetian Macao replicates Venice's Grand Canal with indoor gondola rides, piazza recreations, and painted-sky ceilings across three floors of retail, dining, and entertainment. The Cotaiferna Arena hosts major concerts and sporting events including boxing world championship bouts.
